What installation covers
Pool Pump Installation Option Details: Covers replacement of an existing pool pump only. Includes up to 5 feet of pipe and 4 fittings for plumbing connections. Electrical work includes connection to the existing electrical cable only — does not include rewiring or running a new cable. Service available in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties. (Please note that installation costs are not included in the equipment price. Installation services are sold separately.)

Warnings and Disclaimers
- Electrical Hazard: Due to high amperage and voltage requirements, this 5 HP unit must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC and local codes.
- Plumbing Limitation: To prevent cavitation and ensure XF performance, suction lines should be at least 2.5" or 3" in diameter. Undersized piping will lead to pump failure.
- Entrapment Risk: High-suction pumps require dual drains or an approved Safety Vacuum Release System (SVRS) to prevent suction entrapment hazards.
- Dry Run Warning: Never run the pump without water. Running dry will permanently damage the shaft seal within seconds, causing leaks and motor failure.
- Bigger Plumbing is Better: For maximum XF performance, use 2.5" or 3" unions. Reducing the plumbing to 2" significantly chokes this pump's 5 HP potential.
- Seal Lubrication: Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the lid O-ring every time you clean the basket. This ensures a 100% airtight seal and prevents the pump from losing prime.
- Lid Removal: The WhisperFloXF lid is designed for tool-free removal. If stuck, ensure the pump is off and relieve the air pressure via the filter's relief valve first.
