Safety and Operation Warnings
- Maximize Savings: Use a pool cover at night. This retains up to 70% of the heat generated by your UltraTemp, drastically lowering your electricity bill.
- Annual Cleaning: Gently flush the evaporator air coil with a garden hose once a year to remove pollen and dust. Never use a high-pressure washer as it will bend the aluminum fins.
- Stable Base: Ensure the unit is installed on a level, non-combustible base (like a concrete pad) pitched slightly (1/4" per foot) to allow condensation to drain away.
