 (Aladdin GO-KIT54). This comprehensive repair kit includes all necessary O-rings, gaskets, and the critical mechanical shaft seal for a complete tune-up on compatible Sta-Rite / Pentair pumps manufactured from 1998 to present.

  • Qualified Professional: This product should be installed and serviced by a qualified professional.
  • Water Only: NEVER operate the pump without water, as water acts as a coolant and lubricant for the mechanical shaft seal; running it dry will damage the seals and void the warranty.
  • Genuine Parts: This is an aftermarket replacement compatible with Sta-Rite equipment. Use of non-OEM parts may void the original manufacturer's warranty.
  • Chemicals: Do NOT add undiluted chemicals directly into the pump's strainer housing, as this can damage the pump components.
  • Lubricant Type: Only use a water-based, PTFE lubricant like Magic Lube; petroleum-based products will deteriorate the rubber components quickly.

Pro Tips

  • Replace When Replacing Motor: It is highly recommended to replace the seal and gaskets using this kit whenever you replace your pump motor. An old seal will not mate properly with a new motor and is likely to leak.
  • Ensure Correct Fit: Double-check the date of manufacture for your pump; this kit (GO-KIT54) is specifically for models from 1998 and present. Older models (pre-1998) use a different kit (GO-KIT45).
  • Lubricate O-rings: Use the included **Magic Lube** to lubricate all O-rings and gaskets during installation to help ensure a proper, leak-free seal and prevent damage.
  • Protect Seal Faces: The lapped and polished faces of the new mechanical seal are easily scratched; handle with care and keep them clean during installation.
  • Prevent Rust: Ensure all rust is cleaned from the motor shaft before installing the new seal to prevent premature wear or failure.
