Water Intrusion Danger: Blowers are not submersible. A HARTFORD LOOP (plumbing elevated at least 1 foot above the water level) is mandatory to prevent water from siphoning back into the blower motor, which will cause immediate failure and potential fire hazard.
Thermal Overload: These motors are equipped with an automatic thermal reset. If the unit overheats and shuts off, it will restart automatically once cooled. Ensure adequate ventilation and clear any air intake obstructions immediately.

- The "Height" Rule: Always install the blower as high as possible above the water line. This adds a physical barrier against water backup, even if your check valve fails.
- Check Valve Maintenance: The internal check valve is the first line of defense. Inspect it annually for debris or wear; a stuck valve is the #1 cause of blower motor burnouts.
- Avoid Over-Sizing: Installing a 2.0 HP blower on a small spa with few air jets can create "geysering" and excessive noise. Choose the HP that matches the number of jets in your system.
- Sound Dampening: To further reduce noise, install the blower in a well-ventilated enclosure or use a flexible vibration-absorbing mounting pad.
