The Jandy AquaLink RS-PS8 is an 8-relay pool and spa combo control system board that comes with 2 Jandy Valve Actuators (JVAs) for automated pool/spa water valve switching. Paired with the iAquaLink app, it enables remote monitoring, programming, and control of pumps, heaters, lighting, and spa functions from any mobile device. Additional user interfaces such as spa-side and in-house remotes are sold separately.
Key Features & Performance
- RS485 Wiring Limit: Do not connect more than two RS485 cables per red terminal connector on the AquaLink power center board; a multiplex board (6584) may be required for additional RS485 devices.
- Licensed Installation Required: This product must be installed and serviced by a contractor licensed and qualified in pool equipment installation per state or local jurisdiction requirements.
- Power Off Before Servicing: Turn off power at the main circuit feeding the AquaLink power center before beginning installation or service to prevent risk of electrical shock.
- iQ30 Web-Connect Placement: If adding a web-connect device, install it with the antenna up and within arm's reach, at least 10 ft (3m) from high-voltage electric motors and 5 ft (1.5m) from other transceivers.
- Additional Interfaces Sold Separately: Spa-side remotes and in-house remotes are not included with the RS-PS8 board and must be purchased separately for additional control points.
