The Jandy® CS Series Single Element Cartridge Filter (100–250 Sq. Ft.) is an ultra-compact, high-performance filtration solution designed for pools and spas with limited equipment space. Built with a durable, UV-resistant thermoplastic tank, this filter uses a single large-surface-area cartridge to trap fine debris without the need for backwashing. Its Versa Plumb® ready design ensures maximum hydraulic efficiency, while ergonomic handles and a tool-free locking ring make maintenance fast and simple. Ideal for tight retrofits, the CS series delivers sparkling water clarity with a minimal footprint.

Filter Installation Option Details: Covers replacement of an existing pool filter only. Includes up to 5 feet of pipe and 4 fittings for plumbing connections. Service available in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties. (Please note that installation costs are not included in the equipment price. Installation services are sold separately.)

⚠️ Critical Safety Warnings

HIGH PRESSURE HAZARD: This system operates under high pressure. Failure to bleed air from the tank before starting the pump can cause the lid to blow off, resulting in severe injury, death, or property damage.
AIR RELIEF REQUIREMENT: Always open the Manual Air Relief Valve on top of the tank before starting the pump. Leave it open until a steady stream of water (no air) emerges.
SYSTEM LIMITS: Never exceed the maximum operating pressure of 50 PSI. Do not use with water temperatures exceeding 104°F (40°C).
SHUT-OFF PROCEDURE: Always turn off the pump and any automatic suction cleaners before adjusting valves or attempting to open the filter locking ring.
💡 Professional Tips for Success
  • The Rule of 10: Clean your cartridge when the pressure gauge reads 8–10 PSI higher than your initial "clean" starting pressure.
  • Lube the O-Ring: Apply a thin layer of 100% silicone-based lubricant to the tank O-ring every time you open the filter. Never use Vaseline.
  • Degrease Annually: Rinsing removes dirt, but soaking in a degreaser is required to remove body oils and lotions from the Reemay® fibers.
  • Hand-Tighten Only: Never use a hammer or wrench on the locking ring. If it won't close by hand, check the O-ring alignment.
PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED: This product must be installed by a licensed professional. Improper installation can result in serious safety hazards and will void the manufacturer's warranty.
INDOOR INSTALLATION: If installed indoors, the area must have a high-capacity floor drain. The manufacturer is not responsible for flood damage caused by tank or pipe failure.
