PRESSURE EXPLOSION HAZARD: Air trapped in a filter can be dangerous. Never stand directly over the filter tank when starting the pump or opening the release valve. Improper venting can cause catastrophic tank failure.

HAND TIGHTEN ONLY: Excessive force with a wrench or pliers can crack the plastic manifold or strip the brass threads of the gauge. Hand-tighten until snug to avoid permanent equipment damage.

CALIBRATION CHECK: If the gauge does not return to "0" when the pump is powered off, the internal mechanism is clogged or broken. Replace immediately for accurate pressure monitoring.

?? Professional Tips for Success

The 10 PSI Rule: Mark your gauge when the filter is clean. Once pressure rises 8-10 PSI above that point, it is time to backwash or clean your cartridges.
PTFE Tape: Apply 2-3 wraps of Teflon tape to the 1/4" threads to ensure a perfect, airtight seal without over-torquing the fitting.
