Safety Warnings & Performance
Explosion Risk: NEVER loosen the locking ring or attempt to remove the lid while the pump is energized. Trapped high-pressure air can launch the lid with dangerous force.
System Backpressure: If your PSI reads 10–12 above baseline, clean the cartridge immediately. Excessive pressure puts unnecessary stress on the lid structure.
Compatibility Warning: This lid is specifically for the wider-diameter tank series. It is NOT interchangeable with 50/100 sq. ft. models.
💡 Pro-Tips for Successful Installation
- The "Click" Test: Ensure the locking ring seats fully. Due to the larger surface area, even a slight misalignment can lead to a significant bypass leak at 20+ PSI.
- Cartridge Alignment: Centering the internal cartridge on the collector manifold is vital. A tilted cartridge prevents the lid from seating and can crack the internal guide.
- Spring Cleaning: Always wipe down the O-ring groove on both the lid and base when opening. Trapped grit is the most common cause of "mysterious" drips.
- Seal Maintenance: Requires a heavy-duty tank O-ring (typically 8.5" - 9" diameter) for a secure, leak-free pressurized environment.
