Key Features & Performance
- Use the Correct Primer: For superior joint preparation, use E-Z Weld Enviro 211 Clear Primer or Enviro 212 Purple Primer where required by the manufacturer or local plumbing code.
- Prepare Both Surfaces: Cut the pipe square, deburr and bevel the end, clean the mating surfaces, and confirm a proper interference fit before applying primer and cement.
- Do Not Modify the Cement: Never add thinner, solvent, primer, or other additives. Do not use cement that has become stringy, thickened, or jelly-like.
- Allow Adequate Cure Time: Cure time varies with pipe size, temperature, humidity, pressure, and installation conditions. Do not pressurize the system until the required cure period has passed.
- Confirm Code Requirements: Verify pipe schedule, diameter, primer requirements, potable-water approval, and local code compliance before completing the joint.
