Safety Warnings & Critical Installation
- Mark Your Baseline: Set the indicator ring to your "clean" pressure immediately after a filter cleaning. When the needle rises 10 PSI above this, it’s time to backwash.
- Seal Correctively: Apply 2–4 wraps of Teflon (PTFE) tape clockwise around the threads. Ensure the tape does not cover the bottom opening of the gauge.
- Vertical Alignment: If the dial isn't upright when snug, add another layer of Teflon tape rather than forcing an extra turn.
- Compatibility: Fits Clean & Clear, FNS Plus, Triton C-3, and many Sta-Rite 1-1/2" multiport valves.
