Safety Warnings & Operational Hazards
- The VersaFlo Advantage: The integrated bypass valve automatically diverts flow away from the heat exchanger when heating is not required. This saves up to 20% in pump energy costs and extends exchanger life by reducing chemical wear.
- Water Chemistry: Maintain pH between 7.4-7.6. Low pH is the #1 killer of copper heat exchangers. A damaged exchanger due to poor chemistry is not covered by warranty.
- Winterization: In freezing climates, you must remove the header drain plugs and blow out the lines. Water freezing inside the copper tubes will cause them to burst.
- Rodent Protection: The JXiQ is designed with a fully encased shell to prevent rodents from nesting and chewing through the internal wiring harness. Ensure all access panels are tightly secured.

What installation covers
Gas Heater Installation Option Details: Covers replacement of an existing gas heater only. Includes up to 20 feet of pipe, 8 fittings, one three-way valve, and one check valve for plumbing connections. Includes electrical connection of no more than 5 feet to the unit. The electrical panel used to feed the gas heater must have sufficient capacity for the unit’s amp draw. The gas meter must have sufficient pressure to properly supply the gas heater. Does not include pricing if the unit is installed inside a room that requires ventilation. There must be a clear passway or walkway from the installation site to the driveway where the technician’s vehicle is parked. Price includes removal of the old unit, if needed. Service available in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties. (Please note that installation costs are not included in the equipment price. Installation services are sold separately.)
