Warnings and Disclaimers
- Professional Installation: Installation must be performed by a contractor licensed in pool equipment to ensure warranty compliance.
- Pressure Limit: Do NOT connect to city water systems. High pressure (over 35 PSI) can rupture the jet housing.
- No Tool Zone: Do NOT use pliers or wrenches to install the nozzle into the swivel base; it is designed to be pushed in by hand.
- Testing Plug: Only use the provided pressure testing plug during initial construction phases.
Pro Tips
- Balanced Flow: For multiple jets, use a [loop plumbing manifold](https://www.jandy.com) to ensure each nozzle receives equal water pressure for uniform stream heights.
- Winterization: Remove the nozzle and swivel base, clear the line with air, and replace with the [pressure plug](https://www.eztestpools.com) to prevent winter freeze damage.
- Height Sync: Set the jet body exactly flush with the expected finished deck surface (plaster, travertine, or concrete) to ensure the bronze plate sits flat.
- Debris Management: If the stream begins to "flutter," unscrew the cover plate and pull the nozzle to clear out small grains of sand or debris that may have bypassed the filter.
