The Jandy Pro Series Never Lube 4718 is a heavy-duty 2-way CPVC diverter valve built for 2-1/2" and 3" plumbing runs. Completely maintenance-free, it uses Jandy's proprietary Never Lube positive-seal diverter technology to eliminate the messy grease and sticking common with traditional valves. It can be operated manually with the included lock-knob handle or paired with a Jandy Valve Actuator for fully automated pool/spa control. Positive-Seal Diverter: Features a positive-seal diverter design available in large or standard sizes to help ensure a tight, leak-resistant flow diversion between ports.

Dual Pipe-Size Compatibility: The valve is designed for both 2.5" and 3" pipe; 2.5" pipe slip-fits directly into the valve ports while 3" pipe is joined using a 3" coupler, 45° elbow, or 90° elbow.

Actuator-Ready Design: Can be operated manually via the lock-knob handle or paired with a Jandy Valve Actuator for fully automatic operation.

Adjustable Flow Positioning: The handle is stopped by molded handle stops or by movable index tabs, which can be placed along the index rib at a desired stop location.

Installation & Compatibility

Use the Recommended Cement: Weld-On 724 CPVC Gray cement is recommended when gluing the valve body to pipe fittings.
Remove Internal Assembly Before Gluing: The internal valve assembly must be removed prior to gluing the valve body to pipe fittings, and no glue should be allowed to enter the valve body beyond the ports.
Diverter Use Only: This valve is intended to be used as a diverter valve and should not be utilized as a backwash valve.
Correct Port Orientation: Confirm "INLET" on the valve cover is positioned over the incoming flow port before operating, to help prevent personal injury or property damage.
Professional Installation: Installation should be performed by a contractor licensed and qualified in pool equipment per applicable state or local requirements, following all local and national codes.
