What installation covers
Heat Pump Installation Option Details: Covers replacement of an existing heat pump only. Includes up to 20 feet of pipe, 8 fittings, one three-way valve, and one check valve for plumbing connections. Includes electrical connection of no more than 5 feet to the unit. The electrical panel used to feed the heat pump must have sufficient capacity for the unit’s amp draw. There must be a clear passway or walkway from the installation site to the driveway where the technician’s vehicle is parked. Price includes removal of the old unit, if needed. Service available in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties.

Warnings and Disclaimers
- Electrical Requirements: Must be installed by a licensed electrician. Requires a dedicated circuit breaker and proper grounding to ensure safety and prevent electronic interference.
- Airflow Clearance: The unit requires a minimum of 2 feet of clearance on all sides and 5 feet of overhead clearance for proper heat exchange and prevention of "re-circulation" of cold air.
- Chemical Balance: While the titanium exchanger is corrosion-resistant, imbalanced pH or high chlorine can still damage other copper components in your system. Maintain chemistry within industry standards.
- Winterization: In freezing climates, the unit must be fully drained of water to prevent internal piping from cracking. Improper winterization will void the warranty.
- Solar Blanket Synergy: To maximize the efficiency of your heat pump, use a solar cover at night. Heat pumps gain heat slowly; a cover prevents all that hard-earned warmth from evaporating overnight.
- Bypass Valve: Install a manual bypass valve kit. This allows you to isolate the heater during high-dose chemical treatments or when the heater is not in use, reducing unnecessary wear and tear.
- Condensation is Normal: Don't panic if you see water pooling around the base. Heat pumps produce significant condensation (similar to an AC unit). If you're unsure, turn the unit off for a few hours—if the water dries up, it's condensation, not a leak.
- Steady Temps: Unlike gas heaters, heat pumps work best when maintaining a temperature rather than "recovery" heating. Set it to your desired temp and let it run on its schedule for the most cost-effective results.
