Specifications
Engineered for low-temperature performance, ACT heat pumps provide 30-40% more heat in air temperatures as low as 40°F. Featuring TurboGuard Titanium Heat Exchanger technology, these units are highly resistant to chemical damage and provide eco-friendly heating and cooling.
Use these industry baselines to ensure your pool reaches temperature based on your specific goals:
Ex: A 20,000-gallon pool in Spring/Fall requires ~100,000 BTUs (ACT-1100+).
⚠️ Critical Installation & Safety Warnings
- Sizing: Always better to oversize. Larger units reach temperature faster and cycle off sooner, reducing wear.
- Solar Covers: Using a cover can reduce heat loss by up to 50%, significantly cutting energy costs.
- Coil Care: Gently rinse the evaporator coil with a hose to remove debris. Never use high pressure.
