Product Description

Achieve and maintain exceptionally clear water with the professional-grade SeaKlear Phosphate Remover 10000. Phosphates are the primary food source for algae, and high levels can make it nearly impossible for your standard sanitizers (chlorine, bromine, salt systems) to keep the pool clean. This powerful, concentrated 1-gallon solution safely removes up to 10,000 parts per billion (ppb) of phosphates, effectively starving algae and preventing future blooms.

Manufactured by HaloSource/SeaKlear (UPC 898880001312), this product not only removes phosphates but also acts as a powerful water clarifier. It is the perfect proactive maintenance treatment to ensure a pristine and inviting swimming environment.

Key Performance Features

  • High-Capacity Treatment: One gallon treats thousands of gallons of water, effectively reducing phosphate levels by up to 10,000 ppb.
  • Algae Prevention: By eliminating algae's primary nutrient, this product prevents blooms and reduces the need for expensive algaecides and excess chlorine shock treatments.
  • Water Clarification: The formula naturally clarifies cloudy water by binding micro-particles together, allowing them to be easily removed by the filter system.
  • Does Not Affect Water Balance: This formula is pH neutral and will not alter your pool's total alkalinity or pH levels, simplifying water chemistry management.
  • Versatile & Compatible: Safe for all types of pool filters (sand, cartridge, DE) and all pool surfaces (vinyl, fiberglass, plaster).

Warnings and Disclaimers

  • Cloudiness: Product causes temporary cloudiness (a few hours to a few days), which indicates performance and the formation of a fine precipitate.
  • Filter Pressure: The fine precipitate can cause rapid increases in filter pressure. Do not exceed the recommended maximum dose of 8 fl. oz. per 10,000 gallons for normal treatment in a single application.
  • Ingestion: May cause stomach distress if swallowed; do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
  • Handling: In concentrated form, it can cause skin and eye irritation. Wash thoroughly after handling and wear protective eyewear/gloves.
  • Algae Status: Algae must be treated with a shock dose of chlorine prior to using this product, as killing algae rapidly releases phosphates.
  • Non-Hazardous (as directed): When used as instructed, the product is considered non-toxic and non-hazardous to life forms.

Pro Tips

  • Dosing: Use a measuring cup; 8 fl. oz. removes up to 2500 ppb of phosphates in 10,000 gallons. A little goes a long way.
  • Application: With the circulation system running, slowly add the product evenly around the perimeter of the pool.
  • Speeding Up Clearing: To filter out the phosphate precipitate faster, use Orenda CE-Clarifier concurrently.
  • Filter Maintenance: Monitor filter pressure closely and clean or backwash the filter within 48 hours to remove the captured phosphates.
  • Enzyme Boost: For very cloudy pools or those with high organic load, pair with enzymes (Orenda CV-600/CV-700) to prevent the phosphate dust from sticking to oils and remaining suspended.
