Product Description
The Jandy CV Series Cartridge Filter (340, 460, and 580 Sq. Ft.) provides high-capacity, low-maintenance filtration for large residential and commercial pools. Featuring a four-cartridge system, these filters offer massive surface area to trap fine debris without the need for backwashing. Housed in a durable, corrosion-resistant thermoplastic tank, the CV series ensures crystal-clear water and maximum flow rates with significantly longer cycles between cleanings.
Key Features
- Four-Cartridge Design: Maximizes dirt-holding capacity (340, 460, or 580 sq. ft.) to extend the time between manual cleanings.
- Superior Water Clarity: Traps finer particles than sand filters for a noticeably more polished, sparkling pool.
- Water-Saving Technology: Eliminates backwashing; simply rinse the cartridges with a hose to save thousands of gallons annually.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: UV-resistant, corrosion-proof tank with a secure, tool-free ring bolt for a leak-proof seal.
- High-Flow Air Relief: Manual air relief valve and internal air bypass prevent pressure buildup and maintain peak performance.
- Large 2.5" Ports: Designed for high-volume circulation and easy installation on any modern equipment pad.
What installation covers

Safety Warnings & Operation
- Baseline Pressure: Note the "clean" pressure on the gauge upon installation. Clean cartridges when pressure rises 10 PSI above this level to maintain pump health.
- Lube the O-Ring: Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the tank O-ring during every service to prevent leaks and protect the seal from dry-rotting.
- Included Components: Every Jandy CV filter includes a full set of 4 cartridge elements, 2" x 2-1/2" universal unions, and a sweep elbow fitting.
- Internal Air Bleed: Always check that the internal air bleed tube is properly seated. This ensures the filter automatically clears air pockets during normal operation.
