The Jandy® WaterColors RGBW Nicheless LED Light with HydroCool™ (12V) is a high-performance, energy-efficient solution for modern pools. Its nicheless design fits into standard 1.5-inch return fittings, making it ideal for sun shelves, steps, and beach entries as shallow as 4 inches. With a dedicated Pure White LED and vibrant RGB colors, this 12V system provides brilliant illumination and seamless iAquaLink® smartphone control.

What installation covers

Light System Installation Option Details: Covers removal of the old pool light and installation of the new pool light. Does not include any electrical adaptations or alterations. Does not include any plumbing. Includes pool putty to cover the niche of the light, if needed. Service available in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties. (Please note that installation costs are not included in the equipment price. Installation services are sold separately.)

⚠️ Critical Safety Warnings

ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD: Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC or CEC. Failure to ground correctly can result in death.
VOLTAGE RESTRICTION: Use ONLY with 12V AC power. Connecting to 120V will cause catastrophic failure, explosion, or fatal shock.
SUBMERSION REQUIRED: Do not power the light unless it is fully submerged. Dry-running for more than 30 seconds will cause thermal damage and void the warranty.
MINIMUM DEPTH: The top of the lens must be at least 4 inches (102 mm) below the water line to ensure proper cooling.
💡 Pro-Tips for Success
  • Transformer Sizing: Use a UL 379 pool-rated safety transformer. Always leave spare capacity for surges.
  • Conduit Design: Use 1" conduit with sweep elbows only. Never use standard 90° plumbing elbows for electrical pulls.
  • Dark Finishes: For dark pool surfaces, pure White lights are recommended as they provide better visibility than colors.
PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION MANDATORY: This equipment must be installed by a professional pool technician. Improper installation voids all warranties and poses significant safety risks.
